Microphone Magic is the trading name for Bill White, aka Allan MacGregor.

 With the full name of William Allan MacGregor White (with two passports to prove it ) he worked in Radio Broadcasting under the Allan MacGregor moniker, but is generally known as plain ol' Bill.

He started as a radio technician before moving into radio broadcasting where he was first exposed to high-end audio.

 Glasgow-born, Bill has, in recent times, spent nearly a year supporting reality TV productions in either snake infested jungles, or on tropical island beaches.  He prefers the latter, with his Margarita shaken.

 A survivor of sixties AM broadcasting, his sad decline from broadcast engineer to traffic and sports reporting, before spending 2,500 hours presenting Jazz on community radio, and now location sound hack, is akin to a Greek tragedy – only starring a Scotsman.
